Practices:
We generally practice each Monday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Senior Center on the southeast corner of 29th and Lamar (unless preempted by an engagement or holiday). The Senior Center is closed for all major holidays that are observed by the City of Austin. Very occasionally, we have an engagement on a Monday and we may cancel practice for that week only. Monday, Jan. 2 - The Senior Activity Center is open, and we will be there.
Monday, Jan. 16 - The Senior Activity Center is closed.
Monday, Feb. 20 - The Senior Activity Center is closed
Monday, May 28 - The Senior Activity Center is closed. Monday, June 25 - The Senior Activity Center is closed
We practice in the room at the south end of the Senior Center. During our practices, the outer door to our room is always ajar and visitors are invited to enter, take a seat, and listen to our music.
Because many players are on vacation, we accept very few appearances during the summer months. We also limit our appearances around Christmas and New Years.
Look for us occasionally at the Farmer's Markets at the Triangle on Wednesday evenings and downtown on Saturday mornings. |
